AHREA web site launched

Well for some of us it has been a long time coming (or it least it has felt like it has), but the temporary internet presence of the Australasian Human Research Ethics Association (AHREA) is now officially active.

If you are directly involved, or have an established interest, in human research ethics in Australasian you can now express an interest in joining AHREA. In the next few weeks we will contact everyone who has expressed an interest in joining to confirm your eligibility and with the final details about the cost of membership.

Also in the next few weeks, AHREA members will be able to access a range of online services including: a bulletin board / email service for discussions about human research ethics issues; a resources area where members can post links, articles, discussion pieces and other resources; and a chatroom for live discussions between members, including a dedicated area for HREC Chairs.
